Candidates for the PA 10th Congressional District

We have two Democrats each seeking 1000 write-in votes on the Democratic primary ballot to challenge Marino for the position of Congressman from the 10th Congressional District. Their names are Mike Molesevich and Justin Sheare. You will need to correctly spell the name of the candidate you choose to write in. We can only have one Democratic Candidate move on to the November ballot.

Background and issues from candidate Mike Molesevich:

Mike is seeking the Democratic nomination with your help as a write‐in candidate on the PA primary on Tuesday, April 26th. We need more than 1,000 eligible democratic write‐in votes.

Mike has established himself as a leading energy and environmental consultant and contractor with 30 years of diverse energy and environmental experience in central PA providing environmental due diligence, consulting, and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments for the purchase, sale, and financing of real estate, and Brownfield Redevelopment, or land recycling as sound economic development.

He has served the Borough of Lewisburg as a council member and Mayor for a combined 12 years, and has taught environmental/energy Bucknell, Susquehanna Universities and PA College of Technology. In addition, he has been an environmental and energy efficiency advocate for many years and a co‐ founder of the regional Sierra Club Group in central PA in the 1980s. The following are most important:

Environment – protecting our environment with preservation of and sustainable agriculture  

Energy – increased energy efficiency with wise sustainable and renewable energy development, protecting state parks, special natural/historic,

high water quality creeks/rivers, & sacred areas  

Economics – a strong local economy that creates quality jobs with a higher minimum wage  

Education – early good education with affordable higher & vocational education opportunities  

Equality – all citizens are welcomed and represented to reach their full respective abilities  

Mike is pro‐choice, supports equal protection for all people, wants to end the war on drugs and discrimination, and supports the repeal of Citizens United.

Mike does not endorse demagogic billionaires for president nor accept money from Super PACs and believes that there should be more moderation and cooperation in Washington. Government should be of, for, and by all of the people regardless of age, gender, race, religion, or political affiliation. A free market and a democratic society requires active participation from all citizens and no elected office in this state or county should go unchallenged.
